for Maine include:
- Develop and implement nursing core competencies for the Nurse of the Future
- Create paths for innovation in nursing education
- Re-imagine nursing education and practice as we reflect on future patient needs
- Involve a broad coalition of stakeholders
- Build bridges and partnerships between education and practice to develop models for entering and re-entering nursing practice.
